Burned Out, But Not Broken — I Became the Blueprint
April 2025, God confronted me directly, undeniably. My place of employment had become a mental battleground, a spiritual war zone where my peace was under attack. I knew that if I didn’t surrender, I would become the architect of my own collapse.
I was exhausted. Not just from labor, but from constantly surviving in systems never designed for my success. Systems that drain, delay, deny. And in that exhaustion, I realized: what was always obvious I was not alone.
So many of my peers, classmates, neighbors black and brown bodies with brilliant minds and weary spirits, women of all races, men of all creeds, are fighting the same invisible wars.
We are tired of pushing through with no safety. Tired of being penalized for our pain. Tired of being told we are the problem when in fact, we are the possibility.
Yet in that breaking point, purpose rose up in me stronger than ever.
I am currently a student at Morgan State University, studying Health and Human Science. I hold my Community Health Worker Certification, and I am a proud finalist of the 2025–2026 BNLP (Baltimore Neighborhood Leadership Program) Cohort. A space where emerging change-makers are shaping the future of our city from the inside out.
And today, I am a wife, a mother, a Founder & Visionary of Legacy36 powered by The Green Harrison Circle, a CEO of HealthEdu360 and still a woman navigating the fractured systems set up for us ALL. I’m not removed from the struggle. I am in it. I live it.
But together as one moving unit we can BREAK IT!!!
